Emporia devices can easily swap between 'Simple Mode' for less technical users and 'Android Mode' if you wish to use the Emporia like a standard Android device. Below is a step-by-step guide on swapping between the two modes.

Swapping to Android Mode

Step 1

From the home screen, click the settings cog on the top of the screen, select More Settings, then scroll down and select System Settings

Step 2

Select Apps, then Default Apps, then Home App

Step 3

Select Quickstep, then wait around 10 seconds. The phone should automatically take you back to the home page, and it will now be updated to the Android interface.

Swapping to Simple Mode 

Step 1

From the home page, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and select Settings

Step 2

Select Apps, then Default Apps, then Home App

Step 3

Select Emporia, then wait around 10 seconds. The phone should automatically take you back to the home page with Simple Mode enabled
