When porting your old number on an iPhone or other apple device, you may notice that your iMessage will still display the previous number.

iMessage does not update to your ported number automatically, and has to be done by the user. The guide below will help you get your iMessage working correctly after porting.

Navigate to your device's Settings

Find the Phone app in the Apps list

Locate the My Number setting

Update the text field with your ported number
